Mr. Beat, A.B.D. is the untold story of an acquaintance of musicians everywhere who has not yet gotten around to finishing his doctoral dissertation. He is an odd, lopsided fellow, switching sporadically between extremes of personality. A sense of order grows increasingly apparent as he organizes himself and finally earns his doctorate.
