Head Size = 1 19/32" x 1/4"

Designed in conjunction with Jim Casella, Percussion Caption Head and Arranger for the six-time World Champion Santa Clara Vanguard, the new MT4A is designed to supply superior speed, comfort and sound quality. Its tapered nylon "cartwheel" style head allows a comfortable playing angle into the drum without getting in the way of the rims. This new head also has enough weight and surface area to achieve a warm tone from the drums.

Newly designed "anti-buzz" rubber grips eliminate the vibration that is so common with aluminum tenor mallets. These new features, combined with great balance for speed and unsurpassed Vic Firth craftsmanship, make the MT4A a great new choice for all tenor players!
