The new TAMA Marching snare will be offered in a standard Birch/Bubinga (B/B) hybrid shell or the optional Maple shell. The B/B shell provide a sharp, aggressive attack as well a well rounded mid to low range while the maple shells deliver a rich resonance with sensitive response.
Delivering groundbreaking new technology, TAMA's patented "Buzz Killer Mutes" and "Detachable Gut Frame" give the player maximum control of sound options with quick, easy adjustments. The Detachable Gut Frame can be removed from the drum in 2-3 seconds allowing for ultra-quick head changes. The guts can even be tuned while removed from the drum.
The TAMA marching snare strainer is located near the top of the drum within easy reach while using the carrier. This lever is very stable and operates smoothly when switching from snare to tenor sound. The High Position Strainer also has built-in safeguards to prevent over adjusting the vertical position of the guts.
The TAMA original gut frame features individually adjustable/removable guts to create your own sound. All guts can be adjusted at once using the buttery-smooth tension adjustment knob.

TAMA's new Tenor Drums offer a wide range of adjustments to accommodate different body types. After all, reach is an important factor in playing tenors and every performer doesn't have the same length arms. Using a simple drum key, these drums can be easily repositioned and locked down for maximum comfort and ease of movement. The light weight of these drums is a feature all tenor drummers are sure to appreciate.
The Tenor drums will be offered in B/B (4 outer plies of birch and 3 inner plies of Bubinga) as well as an optional 6-ply Maple. The B/B shells provide a sharp, aggressive attack with rich resonance creating a completely new sound never heard on the marching field. The Maple drums are sensitive to the player's command while showcasing the classic warmth found in this wood.
Both shell types feature reinforcement rings for strength and durability needed with today's high pitch tuning requirements.

The bass drums are offered in B/B shells (5 outer plies of birch and 3 inner plies of Bubinga) as well as an optional 8-ply Maple. The B/B shells create a powerful low end with excellent articulation that works great for both outdoor and indoor use, while the Maple shells produce rich resonance with sensitive response and an open sound that has no comparison to any other material.
Lightweight aluminum die-cast lugs and 6 mm diameter tension rods deliver the strength and durability needed for high pitch tuning.
The TAMA "Noiseless Carrier Attachment" completely eliminates the space between the drum and carrier and securely locks the carrier to the drum. This allows the drum to fit the player’s body enhancing stability and playability.
Bass Drums are available in the following sizes: 14",16",18",20",22",24",26",28". All bass drum size depths are 14"
TAMA Silver Armor Carriers provide the maximum in adjustability, comfort, and durability. All carriers have adjustable height, adjustable shoulder pipes, and adjustable back support. The shoulder and back pads can self-rotate to fit the contour of any size player. Each carrier can be quickly customized for the individual player with a standard tuning key. High quality belly and shoulder pads are easily removed for machine washing. Each carrier is equipped with a duel locking system. Snares, tenors, and bass drums all can be safely locked to the carrier to insure confidence during the most demanding physical motion.
TAMA Safety Lock Marching Stands set the standard for adjustability, versatility, and safety. All stands easily adjust to the desired height. Snare, tenor, and bass drums can be positioned in any of 360 degree positions with complete stability. The center of gravity design prevents drums from tipping over. Legs can adjust to allow setup on uneven terrain or in stadium seating. All stands include a duel locking system that safely lock each drum to the stand. Even bass drums will stay in place if accidentally bumped or in high wind conditions. Each stand also features a multi lock clamp to securely lock each stand to the stadium seat. There is no danger of stands tipping over while performing at sporting events.
